3M™ DBI-SALA® Saflok™ Steel Carabineer consists of self-locking, self-closing gate for more security and safety. Carabineer with 2" gate opening features durable steel construction. Gate face of the carabineer can withstand a load of 3600 lb and is compatible with many connecting rings. Before rotating the carabineer, triple twist locking mechanism must be pulled up. Roll pin of the carabineer when installed offers a captive eye for the connection of a lifeline, lanyard or similar component. Carabineer with a minimum tensile strength of 5000 lb meets all applicable industry standards like ANSI, OSHA and stringent ANSI Z359.
