Thermostatic mixing valves blend hot and cold water to a comfortable flushing temperature (65° F-95° F). ANSI standards require tepid water to assure that eyewash and drench shower users are not subject to scalding or freezing water temperatures. Valves are pre-set at 85° F but can be adjusted to other temperature set points. Valves are available in (4) options to accommodate various equipment applications: 8 gpm, 36 gpm, 67 gpm and 103 gpm. Provides tepid water as required by ANSI Z358.1-2009.
Note: Bradley Corporation recommends the use of the S19-866, 20 gpm showerhead flow control when sizing drench showers and combination drench showers with eyewashes.
