Reduces average measurement time considerably for multiple stroke tubes. Internal pump capacity allows use of extension hoses with length of up to 98'. Automatically transfers measurement parameters. All relevant measurement parameters are contained in bar code printed on back of short-term Dräger-Tube packaging. By swiping bar code over pump's bar code reader, name of substance to be measured, number of strokes, and measuring range are automatically transferred to X-act 5000. Preparation for each measurement is simplified and potential for error is significantly reduced. All parameters required for sampling can also be entered directly, depending on sampling tube or system. Dräger-Tubes for short-term measurements are calibrated for measuring substances in ambient air. Technical gases have different viscosity than ambient air, and require an adjustment to pump flow or correction to tube reading. Can be adjusted automatically by connecting pump to technical gas. All handled through pump's intuitive menu, resulting in direct tube reading without need to manually apply correction factor. Eliminates need for external flow meter. Flow rate is set using intuitive menu with a few button presses. After sampling time is set, pump can be started immediately. Pump automatically stops at end of measurement.
