Cleaning rags, towels, and dry wipes can be used to remove grime, dust, and soak up spills. For specialized cleaning tasks, they can either be used alone or in combination with chemicals and cleaners to achieve the desired results. In addition to cleaning up spills and polishing surfaces, cloth rags can be used to clean up spills and dust surfaces. It is common practice in garages and maintenance shops to clean up oil, engine fluids, grease, and other spills with shop towels. It is well known that microfiber cloths are more absorbent than cotton cloths and trap more dirt, compared to cotton cloths.
