Chemical Resistant Gloves
Gloves that are chemical-resistant are made of rubber polymers that are resistant to acids, bases, solvents, and other types of chemicals. It is recommended that workers who are exposed to hazardous liquids wear them when other hazards, such as cuts and heat, do not pose a threat to them. As a general rule, gloves that offer a higher level of protection are thicker than gloves that offer a lower level of protection. In comparison to gloves that are thicker, gloves that are thinner have a better sense of touch, but are less chemically resistant than gloves that are thicker.
