Gloves with latex palms are recommended for those who require a strong grip, dexterity, good abrasion resistance, puncture resistance, and overall durability. When compared to other glove materials, latex has exceptional grip properties and is highly elastic; it is also very durable and can withstand high temperatures. While it is resistant to alcohols and some ketones, it has poor resistance to hydrocarbon and organic solvents, such as gasoline and kerosene. Latex coated gloves may not be suitable for some workers due to allergies.
